2 Chainz Robbed at Gunpoint [Update]

2 Chainz was reportedly robbed at gunpoint in broad daylight on Sunday in San Francisco.

According to TMZ, police say the Atlanta rapper’s entourage fled “like cockroaches” after the incident.

The San Francisco police department responded to a shots-fired call just after 4:30 p.m. When they arrived at the scene, 2 Chainz wasn’t cooperative and asked to handle it himself.

He told police that only his wallet was stolen. But when officers reviewed surveillance footage, it showed 2 Chainz was the intended target.

The video reportedly shows 2 Chainz and 14 members of his entourage fleeing like “cockroaches running from a flashlight.”

But he carried on with business as usual, performing at 106 KMEL’s Summer Jam in Oakland later in the day.

UPDATE: There are conflicting reports as to whether 2 Chainz or a member of his entourage was robbed.

He took to Twitter to address the incident. “Rule #1 if a rapper gets robbed people usually post items that has been taken. Rings, chains, watch , money etc. 2 answer that question,” he wrote. “Rule#2 if a rapper gets shot he usually go to hospital or dies.”
