Michelle Williams Announces New Single 'If We Had Your Eyes'

With Beyoncé on tour and Kelly Rowland about to release her album Talk a Good Game, Destiny’s third child, Michelle Williams, is readying a brand new single, “If We Had Your Eyes.”

“I am so happy to announce my new single ‘If We Had Your Eyes’ – Luv ya,” tweeted the 32-year-old singer, who starred in the Tony Award-winning musical “Fela!”

She posted a 30-second clip of the song’s instrumental on YouTube, while the full track is set to debut on June 24.

The song represents a “new era” and “new sound” for Williams, who will release her fourth solo album on eOne Music later this year.

“I want to thank you all for your patience and love! I am so excited for you guys to hear what I have cooked up with @HarmonyBOE,” she added.

Her previous album, Unexpected, was released in 2008 on Music World/Columbia Records and spawned the dance hit “We Break the Dawn.”
