Iggy Azalea Talks Sex, Twerking, & T.I. with ‘The Breakfast Club’

Iggy Azalea

“I caught the bus to your interview last time,” said Iggy Azalea during her return visit to “The Breakfast Club” on Power 105.1. A much more confident Iggy appeared on the show on Thursday where she spoke to Charlamagne Tha God, Angela Yee, and DJ Envy about everything from blow jobs to her debut The New Classic to her relationships with T.I. and A$AP Rocky.

On T.I.: “He’s the only person that’s stuck by me and been my friend when everyone else was like, ‘She’s losing it or it’s a wrap on her or it’s not gonna work out for her,’” she said. “He’s the only person who stuck around for me and really tried to help me behind the scenes a lot. … Nobody in those offices wanted to mess with me.”

On why she decided to sign with a major label, Island Def Jam, instead of going indie: “I can’t bankroll the indie route. There’s things that I need that I cannot bankroll, like my stage shows being one of them.”

On rumors that she’s dating Nas: “He is a good friend to me,” said Iggy, who toured with him for a month in Europe.

On tailoring her sound to reach a larger audience: “I need to show that I can do other things so I can get booked on TV because I can’t get booked on TV doing twerk music ’cause they don’t want to see butt checks alternate on ‘Saturday Night Live.’”

On how she learned to twerk: “Just hanging out in Atlanta and going to the parties and seeing girls dance and wanting to dance like them.”

On ex-boyfriend A$AP Rocky: “We fell out because I’m young and he’s young and it’s a really difficult time for me. I was going through a lot of stuff and his career was going great and mine was going a different way. We stopped hanging out, but we’re still cool.”

On Nicki Minaj: “I would love to work with her. Any female rapper that says they wouldn’t is a liar. That’s a damn lie. Obviously that would be her choice.”

On Chrisette Michele: “I would love to work with her too. I heard that. I followed her on Twitter.”

Here’s what I don’t understand, it’s so obvious that she had something done to her butt. It looks gorgeous, though, so why would she deny it? She could actually be one of the first women to openly admit that she had something done to her. The result is amazing, so it’s nothing to be ashamed about. I just don’t know who she thinks she’s fooling when the evidence is in the footage. She went from flat to packed and it’s a little too convenient for her to have grown a butt when she starts blowing up for it to be real. Again, it looks great. Just don’t take people for dummies.

@Lisa, you need to understand that Iggy, as a woman, has every right in the world to keep her mouth shut about what she has or has not done to her body. Would you, as a woman, want another woman or man on you constantly, telling you what you’ve done when you haven’t?

Great point. No, I wouldn’t. Reading it back it should have been left unsaid. I have a lot to say about a lot of things and sometimes my filter fails me, haha. I retract that statement, though. It was immature.

Other than that, I love her interviews. She’s a good sport and she has something to say.

@myke, it looks better than normal, as I mentioned more than once. I just don’t think it looks real, especially in comparison to the way it looked back when she first started out.

@myke, Wow that’s racist. Why is it when someone says Iggy had work done on her booty there’s a problem? However, when people make the same comments about Nicki Minaj no one ever says anything. News flash, it doesn’t look normal.

But then again, putting it in perspective, it wasn’t the nicest thing to say and it doesn’t really matter… You do have a point.

@Lisa, The one thing I dont get in this world is why WOMEN are always the first to judge OTHER women. It’s weird cuz like a man aint got to worry about what a man or woman thinks about him, but a woman got to worry about both. It’s a damn shame :(

I understand where you’re coming from, but in no way was my comment made to deliberately bring down another woman. It was to shed light on the secrecy concerning cosmetic surgery, when in my eyes, I don’t feel there’s any need for that. Later I realized that this wasn’t the right article to bring that up, so I take what I said back.

    @Lisa,
What i don’t understand is how would you know if she has had any cosmetic surgery done or not? How would you know how her buttt looked a couple years ago. I’m not sure which interview it was but Iggy said that most people in her family are bottom heavy. You don’t have to be black to have a big butt. If she wanted to have cosmetic surgery done maybe she would’ve gotten her boobs done. You cant force her to say that she has had work done because maybe she hasn’t.
