Video: K. Michelle – ‘I Don’t Like Me’

K. Michelle

K. Michelle rebels against insecurity in the video for “I Don’t Like Me.” The red-haired songstress tells an emotional story of a young lady, who suffers from low self-esteem. As she lays in bed with a man by her side, she dwells on her flaws and compares herself to other girls.

“‘Cause all that I can see is she’s prettier than me/ Damn, I wish I had her body/ I can hear my self-esteem/ I don’t like me,” sings the “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” star.

The raw record is one of 11 tracks on her upcoming debut Rebellious Soul, due August 13.

Watch her powerful message to young women.
