Kat Dahlia Arrested for DUI

Kat Dahlia had a little too much fun celebrating her birthday and ended up behind bars. The “Gangsta” singer, born Katriana Huguet, was arrested for DUI on Tuesday morning in Miami.

According to TMZ, Dahlia was pulled over for speeding around 3 a.m. with her headlights off. When the police officer approached her 2013 Nissan, a strong odor of alcohol emanated from the vehicle.

The officer noticed that she had blood shot eyes and her speech was slurred, reports AP. When placed under arrest, she allegedly resisted and cussed out the officer. She was also asked to complete a field sobriety test and refused.

She was transported to a nearby police station and booked for misdemeanor DUI and resisting arrest. She’s being held on $2,000 bail.

Just hours earlier, she celebrated her 23rd birthday on a boat, posting a photo on Instagram.

Dahlia’s debut album My Garden was originally due in September, but has been pushed to February.
