Album Cover: 2 Chainz – ‘B.O.A.T.S. II: MEtime’

B.O.A.T.S. II: MEtime

2 Chainz takes a literal approach with the cover art for B.O.A.T.S. II: MEtime. The Atlanta rapper throws up two gold chains on a white background. The artwork is the vision of Kanye West’s company DONDA, who also designed the packaging for 2 Chainz’ debut Based on a T.R.U. Story.

MEtime has multiple meanings. I feel like my music actually gives people a sense of going away sometimes—without really going on vacation,” 2 Chainz told MTV News. “I feel like when people listen to me, they feel like they’re goin’ somewhere, taking time off; they’re relaxing, lettin’ their hair down.”

The album arrives September 10 featuring the Pharrell-assisted single “Feds Watching” and “Where U Been?” featuring Cap 1.
