2 Chainz

2 Chainz didn’t get where is overnight. The Atlanta rapper explains the strategy behind his game in the second episode of his mini series leading up to the release of his sophomore album B.O.A.T.S. II: MEtime on September 10.

He plays basketball on the court during his “America’s Most Wanted Music Festival” tour and speaks about his drive and hunger to win.

“I’ve always been competitive,” says 2 Chainz. “For me, I always felt like I had skills, but there was other starters. It was like an order of seniority. I had to pay dues.”

But it was hard work and dedication that got him where he is today. “I have created a work ethic that commands results.”

He also explains his philosophy of nature vs. nurture. “I’m a nature boy. I did what I had to do to get where I had to get.”

Plus, look for cameos from his tourmate T.I. and Kobe Bryant.

He’s so wrong with the nature vs nurture thing. He’s trying to be smart and all, but he’s got it all wrong. Nurture includes everything that affects you from the outside, like parents, your hood, the streets, all that. That’s all nurture. Then nature is what you’re born with. How you inherently are based on your personality and genes. He tries to be smart but he comes off looking like an idiot. I do like his music though.
