New Music: Tiara Thomas – ‘Tell Me Something’

Tiara Thomas

“Bad” hitmaker Tiara Thomas continues to show her versatility. Following the Rico Love-produced banger “4Dolla Bill,” the Indianapolis singer-songwriter keeps it real on “Tell Me Something,” a gritty mid-tempo R&B cut.

“Tell me something I don’t know already about these ni**as/ I bet you say anything/ Tell me something I don’t know already about these bitches/ Oh, they can be so phony,” sings Tiara.

Her debut EP Dear Sallie Mae is due later this year on Love’s Division1/Interscope Records.

I’m not feeling this girl anymore. This image and this music is not what I thought she would after falling in love with bad

Much better! I think she’s starting to find her own voice and perspective. That “4 Dolla Bill” song was pretty terrible, so I’m glad she’s back on track. I’ll definitely get the EP when she releases it.

    I really love Tiara.

I can’t stand when people diss her other music. Music isn’t about sounding the same all the time. She has RANGE and she can basically do anything on any beat.

This reminds me of Lauryn Hill.

    DOPE.
