Hold on, he needs one more week. Drake fans will have to wait a little longer as his album Nothing Was the Same has been delayed.

Originally due September 17, the third album from the Toronto MC will now arrive on September 24. The new date appears on websites for retailers including Best Buy and Amazon (via HipHop-N-More). staging-rapup.kinsta.cloud has also confirmed the date with Universal Republic.

Drake is putting the final touches on the project. On Wednesday, his producer Noah “40” Shebib tweeted, “Hold on we’re almost done.”

In addition to 40, Nothing Was the Same is expected to include contributions from Jay Z, Lil Wayne, and Hudson Mohawke, along with the singles “Started From the Bottom” and “Hold On, We’re Going Home,” which debuted at No. 21 on the Billboard Hot 100.

“This album is about growth,” Drake Rolling Stone in a recent interview. “When I play it for people, they ask, ‘Who’s that rapping?’ I’m like, ‘That’s me.'”

Drake’s previous album, Take Care, debuted at No. 1 in November 2011, selling over 630,000 copies in its first week.
