Foxy Brown Performs 'Bandz Up' on MTV's 'RapFix Live'
Foxy Brown went hard (but this time she remained on her feet) while kicking off VMA weekend with an appearance on MTV’s “RapFix Live.” The Brooklyn rap diva took over the lobby of Barclays Center in her hometown with a performance of her new single “Bandz Up.”
In June, Foxy was debuting the song at a nightclub when she fell to the floor.
There are rumors that she may sign with Rostrum Records (Wiz Khalifa, Mac Miller). “There have been offers, of course,” said Foxy, who was previously signed to Def Jam. “The bar is set so high that any label that I go to now has to be an incredible situation for me financially, even spiritually.”
She just started recording a new album. “‘Bandz Up’ is the first record that I did,” she told Sway. “I was hearing so many people drop all these records. I’m like, ‘What is going on?’ Just dropping records, records, records, and they weren’t amounting to anything, and I was just like, ‘How can people have this leave the studio?’ This is not what we do.”
