Kanye West Records ‘Black Skinhead’ Remix with Miley Cyrus?

Kanye West and Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus may be catching heat for her raunchy VMA performance, but she has a fan in Kanye West. Following Sunday’s show, the rapper and pop star reportedly hit the studio to record a remix to “Black Skinhead.”

According to Page Six, Cyrus bailed on her own VMA after-party and headed straight from Barclays Center to the lab for a late-night, “top-secret” collaboration with Yeezus.

The song is said to be part of a remix EP that will be released later this year.

Kanye was originally scheduled to perform “Black Skinhead” at the VMAs, but made a last-minute change and decided to showcase another Yeezus cut, “Blood on the Leaves.”

If this happens or has happened the tiny little bit of respect I had for Kanye West will disappear, definition of sell-out “Though the fans want the feeling of A Tribe Called Quest
But all they got left is this guy called West” really?

Kanye is so creative, this can turn out AH-MAZING. If you just want to hate on Miley then you won’t give it a chance, but I am interested to see what Kanye comes up with. It has to be better than any of Jay Z and JT collabs.

Really? You all call this a sell out? You’re all dumbasses because this is what you call a possible masterpiece. You have no idea how this will sound, how it can affect the music industry and so forth. Just cut the shit and hear something first because you go apeshit for nothing.
It’s sad when you think he’s a sellout when he really could be exploring music and not being a one trick pony like Kim.

@Rodney,do you feel the same way about Nicki minaj?she do,s other music explored and she got labeled a sellout buy some.

@Rodney, Considering Miley uses black bodies as accessories to make herself appear a part of Hip Hop culture, this collaboration is problematic.

I really really really hope this isn’t true. I’m convinced Kanye has lost his mind. Especially if he’s working with this talentless ratchet slut. I’m the biggest Kanye fan there is, I hate seeing him doing shxt like this. I really miss old Kanye man…

@JHP, Why are you calling this young girl a slut? do you know the meaning of that word? you act like she is out here bed hopping, she has been in the industry for several years, never had any issues, has been with 1 guy since she has been 17, why would you call her a slut? some of you people are so rude, just take liberties with other people’s name and reputations.

I know that you all realize that Kanye does NOT give a hot f*ck what you think, Kanye is going to do Kanye regardless of what the naysayers have to say, so if this will so called make you not a Kanye fan, so be it, he really does not give two sh*ts and you all should know by now. The blood is still on the leaves, the only problem is now the lynching is done on social media and the tabloids with the help of your own.

Why should any of us wonder if Kanye cares about what we have to say?

I voice my opinion on here because I like to discuss rap music and what’s going on in the industry, not because I feel like I can make a significant impact on the artist’s creative choices.

With that being said, I’ve seen Miley talk the talk and fail to walk the walk. I don’t see anything other than another shock-fest coming out of this collaboration, but I guess we’ll see…

I remember when Kanye West was in the studio with Rick Ross recording a song together for Kanye West’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy album, there were some hardcore Kanye West fans who were upset about Kanye West working with Rick Ross. As soon as Kanye West and Rick Ross were finished recording the song “Devil In a New Dress”, that song turned out to be one of the best songs on Kanye West’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy album.

Kanye West always works with great music artists and bad music artists from different music genres. Kanye West has done songs with Jay-Z, Nas, Drake, Eminem, Lil Wayne, T.I., The Game, Brandy, 2 Chainz, Common, Talib Kweli, Nicki Minaj, Young Jeezy, Big Sean, Madonna, Justin Bieber, Cam’ron, Katy Perry, Bon Iver, and several other music artists. Kanye West has won 21 Grammy Awards, so Kanye West doesn’t care about people who don’t want him to work with other music artists. Kanye West has the right to work with anybody he wants to work with, as long as the music is great.

i’ll believe this when i see the official announcement because he’s all about keeping up an image and also all about his art idk if he would actually do this.

    Besos Reply:

@Righteous, if you read what I said properly you would have understood what I was saying instead of insulting me lol. First of all I’m not a fan of his music all I was saying is that kanye takes pride in his work which he happened to call an art on Kris Jenner’s show and because he takes his music seriously I don’t think he would have put miley on one of his songs and that I will only believe this rumor when I hear the official remix. You didn’t have to get all defensive lol but hey some people are just angry lol :D
