New Music: Kid Ink f/ Chris Brown – ‘Show Me’

Show Me

Chris Brown lends his talents to Kid Ink on the L.A. rapper’s radio-ready single “Show Me.” The fellas make the panties drop on the DJ Mustard production, which samples Robin S.’s 1993 hit “Show Me Love.” The song hits iTunes on Sept. 17, but you can listen to the radio rip below.

    @KKK, You make no sense. People don’t have to like every damn song posted on this blog. Fuck your fave. If a song’s not the best material out, that’s just the black bottom line. You idiot stans always have to bring money and fame into the equation.

    There is no debate here. If the guy is whack then let him grow and get better. As a matter fact, just let him be! What you say doesn’t matter.

    Music doesn’t always have to be about punchlines and deep lyrics… If you want that stuff go listen to Nas or Lupe or someone like that. This is not for you. Give constructive criticism don’t just trash someone like you have no brain and heart.

    This is a good song. I don’t care..

    @KKK, are u dumb. I hate people like u. People like nas and the rest live on because. They make sense. This songs just trend and fade off. We’re sick off it. That’s why u see the hype over kendrick jcole wale even sometimes drake. I’m tired of hearing about their fame and crap. It’s annoying because if Chris brown writes the lyrics better he could be way better. Stop supporting. We’re trying to bring music with meaning back

    Ethan Reply:

    @Wole,

    Lawl so every song has to have meaning even though this is a summer jam? dumbass

    [Reply]

    Wow Reply:

    @Ethan, no you’re the dumbass. Every Chris brown song or feature is about the same thing. He’s whack because he mainly sings about sex. This song is whack and won’t chart. You’ll be used to it though the way he’s been flopping with Fortune and the X singles. Maybe if his songs had meaning, he’d do better on the charts. Summer jam? Summer is pretty much over #fail.

    Ethan Reply:

    @Wow,

    songs with meaning ain’t charting either though, you’re trying to hard to make a statement. we weren’t even talking about charting or flopping in the first place. like what the fuck is you doin bruh.

    if you’re so sick and over this type of music you shouldn’t even be here smartass.

    [Reply]

    Wow Reply:

    @Ethan, plenty of songs with meaning are charting. You’d know that if you pulled your head out of Chris ass to listen to what’s around you. I brought up charting and flopping. Your point? What I’m doing is stating facts that your fave has been consistently making music that lacks meaning which is why he’s a flop. I see now that you’re part of the reason. You tell him that crap like this is ok because it’s a “summer jam”. Lastly, I like to check out new talent and have never heard of kid ink. I wanted to see what his music was about, which isn’t much. I’ll continue to be a smartass while you continue to be a dumbass.

    KKK Reply:

    @Wole, And I don’t hate you. No need to bring hate in this, because nobody has time for that. And I did not say Nas and other legendary rappers are whack. I just said if you’re looking for punchlines and deep stuff go to them. Don’t listen to a song that you already think is gonna be whack. That makes me question some of the choices you make in life. Clearly you are the stupid one together with your friend @carlos

    @KKK, Why cant u let him progress he is better than this. I’m a fan. A real one. Who criticizes and doesn’t kiss an artist ass. If he is doing shit. I complain. I don’t support. He said it with his mouth in an interview that he’s going to go straight rnb. Wtf is this?
    He’s way better than this. I’m sad because if he. Doesn’t stop. He’s gonna end his career. In one month he’s been in 3 songs about the same shit. I don’t care (lil twist) sweet serenade (pusha t) and this. Lets be real. No ass kissing

    @carlos dont argue with stans they WILL bring money and fame into the equation bcuz they will never have valid talking points, look how no one mentioned having punchlines and then all of a sudden the stan mentioned lyrics…no one said anythin bout that … dont argue with stans their brain waves are at lower frequencies meaning you will need to play with that to even try to get a stan to understand, that might require a machine.. i kno what i just said sounds weird but trust me this is music, sound engineers know what they are doing and they play with your mind.. summer jam? lmao get real

    No R&B artist, that is on the scene atm, can’t even compare to Chris Brown. He is working his ass off constantly. You can see his name on the charts all the time. You might think that Kid Ink is a freshman but hes far from that. Have you ever heard of DJ Rockstar? Thats him. He has the craziest beats and he wanted to be seen and known too. I dont personally think that they wanted to make something too serious from this. Just a stereo, easy-listening jam.

    Don’t think they know is a good meaningful song, yet it did not chart. So don’t say Chris don’t do all kinds of music, he is good, just the hate overpowers and he will get over that someday.
