Kanye West: 'I'm the Number One Rock Star on the Planet'

Kanye West has never been modest. The rap mogul declares his greatness in a new interview with Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 1.

“We the real rock stars and I’m the biggest of all of ’em,” says Yeezus. “I’m the number one rock star on the planet.”

He also talks fashion, recalling one of his red carpet looks and has some advice for his fellow rappers: “No flip flops for black dudes… Wear some hot ass Jordans on the beach.”

Plus, he reflects on his music including his 2010 album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. “Dark Fantasy could be considered to be perfect,” says ‘Ye. “I know how to make perfect, but that’s not what I’m here to do.”
