New Music: Lorde – ‘Pure Heroine’ [Album Stream]

Pure Heroine

Lorde has captured the hearts of music lovers and topped the charts with her single “Royals.” On Sept. 30, the 16-year-old New Zealand wunderkind will release her full-length debut Pure Heroine. The 10-track collection features her top 10 hit, plus the previously leaked cut “Team.”

“It’s really, really different from the EP,” the singer-songwriter told SPIN of the follow-up to March’s The Love Club EP. “It’s different in lots of ways, just because I’ve obviously grown since then.”

Thanks to VH1, you can now stream the album in its entirety below.

@BEDSTUYFLY, seriously? You obviously have no head on your shoulders. Lorde is on a different level than Cyrus. You are at cyrus’s level. Obviously. Enjoy that status.

@BEDSTUYFLY, Lorde is ACTUALLY really talented. It doesn’t matter that she’s not R&B or hip-hop. Miley Cyrus is constantly posted here and Rihanna doesn’t exactly fit within the narrow confines of the boundaries you’re accustomed to. Listen to her music before jumping to stupid, knee-jerk conclusions. You’re not hurting anyone but yourself.

Agree with you on the Miley Cyrus thing. But Lorde’s pretty dope.

I am a lover of mostly r&b & also like rap & pop but Lorde is alternative and I absolutely fell in love with her after hearing Royals & then listening to her EP. Her pen skills, vocal arrangements, and subject matter is soooo refreshing and really what ppl (particularly of young age) SHOULD be listening to! She’s tremendous & this album is before its time

YES, Christmas came today. I’ve been waiting for this. And I disagree with anyone who thinks Rap-Up shouldn’t post about Lorde, this girl has more swag than most rappers.

This Album is really good… This girl is really on fire right now and I think this CD definitely backs the buzz. Love the light hip hop influences on a lot of tracks that really made them knock without seeming like she was “trying”. I smell Grammys !
