French Montana Talks Raising Pigeons, Morocco, & Fashion with Nardwuar

Following his interview with Trina, Nardwuar popped questions to her man French Montana aka Julius Caesar. The Canadian journalist caught up with the Coke Boy during his visit to Vancouver. While puffing from a hookah, the “Freaks” rapper spoke about his love for Slick Rick and Doug E. Fresh, and recommended some of the best spots in his native Morocco.

He also revealed for the first time that he used to raise pigeons when he was young. “Out there, they eat ’em,” he said. “Over [in the U.S.], you eat ’em, you wake up with a drug addiction.”

Nardwuar presented him with Bun B’s Rap Coloring and Activity Book, which French plans to give to his son, while French complimented the quirky host on his swag.

“Is that Versace?” he asked him about his thrift shop shirt.

They froze for a photo before parting ways. “You really unique, man. Keep doing what you do,” said French.
