Tyler, the Creator presents a visual interpretation of his mind in the bizarre, yet brilliant video for “Tamale,” a cut off his album WOLF. The Odd Future leader directs and stars in the wacky clip, which captures his quirky personality.
He bounces on a woman’s booty, rides a cat, and blurs out one graphic scene (“Because people aren’t ready to have intelligent conversations before they judge”). The Golf Wang member hits the golf course in all yellow, splashes in the pool with his OFWGKTA crew, and umm, pleasures himself in bed. But the humorous tone takes a dark turn as Tyler lies on the couch and addresses his absent father.
Even his idol Pharrell makes a cameo as a drummer. “TO ME THAT PHARRELL CAMEO IS COOLER THAN ANYTHING IVE EVER DONE, THATS A FUCKING FLEX AND THE CRAZIEST DREAM COME TRUE, FUCKKKK,” said Tyler.
