Rick Ross Announces ‘Mastermind’ Release Date

Rick Ross

The Bawse is coming this Christmas. Rick Ross will release his new album Mastermind just in time for the holidays.

The sixth LP from the Maybach Music mogul will arrive on Dec. 17, he announced today.

“Mastermind. 4th Quarter. Takeover. Its Over. Get Ready. 12/17,” tweeted Rozay.

Last month, he debuted the J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League-produced single “No Games” featuring Future. A music video has also been shot with director Colin Tilley.

In support of the album, the 37-year-old rapper will hit the road on his “Mastermind” tour beginning Nov. 12 in Detroit. He will perform with the 1500 or Nothin’ Band on the 8-date trek, which wraps Nov. 23 in his hometown of Miami.

Mastermind marks the follow-up to the Grammy-nominated God Forgives, I Don’t, which debuted at No. 1 in August 2012.

Hopefully he delivers something different and not the same old generic flow.

@@SLICKERTHANSLY, he’s been doing it for so long, I doubt it’s going to change now. For once, I just want him to make a album that has a shelf life longer than 2 weeks.

@YO!, SO SO TRUE. “Box Chevy” “50 Plates” and “No Games” have failed to make any impact on the billboards once again, infact he’s last real impact on the billboards was ASTON MARTIN MUSIC going back to 2011, People seem to miss the fact as “great” as Teflon supposedly was, take a look on Wiki and tell me which single actually well. Did Kendrick even mention Rozay in the Control verse? I rest my case #mastermind87kFirstWeekSales

@NICK, No!!! You not gonna hate on the mothafuckin boss!!!!!! Rozay has been reinventing lately, not grunting as much and focusing on the true hip-hop! “50 Plates” was from Rich Gang and wasn’t a single. “Box Chevy” was a promo single and barely promoted. “No Games” is killing the clubs in Philly at least….it’s on everyone iPod! Trust me! Rozay breaking 100k once again! Yet again, another #1 album!
