Video: SZA - 'Teen Spirit'

SZA’s profile has been rising since signing with TDE. Now the 23-year-old songstress debuts the dark and edgy video for her WondaGurl-produced single “Teen Spirit,” which she directed with Aplusfilmz.

“I wanted to live and die by my own decisions,” SZA told Vogue.com. “From color correction to set choice to dressing myself in dirty T-shirts and random Marni pieces and refusing a stylist and makeup artist… I figured if I was going to fail, I’d do it on my own terms.”

The New Jersey native, who cites Björk and Eartha Kitt as her inspirations, has already released two EPs and is working on her Z EP for release later this year.
