Nicki Minaj is bringing her fashion to the masses. The hip-hop mogul launched her lifestyle brand, the Nicki Minaj Collection, at Kmart and ShopYourWay.com on Tuesday. She pulled up to the Kmart store in Los Angeles in a pink Lamborghini before greeting her Barbz and press inside.
The collection, which retails between $20-40, includes everything from accessories such as bejeweled hats and gold chain necklaces to patterned leggings and acid wash denim.
“I wanted to do something that would take Kmart to another level and make girls like me feel like we can shop here,” Nicki told “Good Morning America” contributor Rachel Smith.
She drew inspiration from Versace, Juicy Couture, and her own fans. “They kinda boss me round,” joked Nicki of her Barbz.
She is working on a new album for next year. “Definitely 2014 obviously, but I don’t want to say when in 2014. That’s a secret.”
