Janelle Monáe

There was never a dull moment when Janelle Monáe made her debut on “Saturday Night Live” this weekend. The spunky singer transformed 30 Rock into Wondaland while delivering a high-energy set.

Dressed in all white with suspenders and boots, she served up her funky single “Dance Apocalyptic” with her stylish band, and returned later in the show to perform “Electric Lady,” the title track off her latest album.

You can catch the Electric Lady live in a city near you on her headlining tour, which wraps November 26 in Atlanta.

Watch her work up a sweat on “SNL.”
