Lady Gaga and Kendrick Lamar

Pop and hip-hop’s biggest stars are headed to the AMA stage. Lady Gaga, Kendrick Lamar, and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis have been announced as performers for the 2013 American Music Awards.

The show will broadcast live from the NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE on Sunday, Nov. 24, at 8 p.m. on ABC.

They join previously announced performers Miley Cyrus, Florida Georgia Line, Imagine Dragons, and One Direction.

Additional acts and presenters will be announced in the coming weeks.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis lead the nominations (see a full list) for this year’s show in six categories, while Kendrick is nominated for Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Album for his debut good kid, m.A.A.d city.

For the seventh year in a row, winners will be determined by online voting.

Kendrick’s great, Macklemore’s alright, and Gaga usually puts on a show. The rest of the performers suck though. Kendrick’s the only real reason I’m gonna watch it. I wish he would win rap album of the year, but I’m sure a bunch of teenage white girls with no appreciation for real hip-hop will vote for Maclkemore and he’ll win.

The AMAS Seems lame so far, but I’ll watch to support my homie Kendrick & I’m sure Gaga will be turnt up too.
