M.I.A. Performs 'Y.A.L.A.' on 'Conan'

After wrapping her “Matangi” tour in L.A. on Tuesday, M.I.A. brought the noize to “Conan.” Dressed in all red, the trendsetting rapper performed her raucous single “Y.A.L.A.” against a lit backdrop that looked just like her live show.

Her fourth album Matangi debuted at No. 23 on the Billboard 200 this week with 15,000 copies sold.

She may put some of her unreleased material on a mixtape. “At some point, I’ve got to get back to London and actually have the time,” she told Revolt TV. “I know that I can put it together in a day, but I need to get there and collect my thoughts on it.”

Next up, she will perform on “The Colbert Report” on Nov. 20.
