Justin Bieber Visits Typhoon Victims in Philippines
Justin Bieber is doing his part to help victims of last month’s devastating typhoon in the Philippines, which left nearly 6,000 people dead and more than 1,700 missing.
The teen heartthrob arrived in Manila on Tuesday and met with youth at San Jose Elementary School. He played a game of basketball with the students and performed a mini-concert of songs including “All That Matters” and his Christmas single “Mistletoe.”
“#pray4philippines most touching trip of my life,” tweeted Bieber. “Help and get involved. I saw the devastation first hand today. They need our help.”
The pop superstar is asking his fans to help him support victims of Typhoon Haiyan through fundraising platform Prizeo. In return for their contributions, donors will be entered for a chance to hang out with Bieber in the studio.
During her tour last month, Alicia Keys visited an air force base in Manila and distributed crayons and coloring books to children.
