Wale does not take rejection lightly. After his album was excluded from Complex‘s list of 50 Best Albums of 2013, he went ballistic.

The MMG rapper called up the magazine and unleashed a tirade on one of the staff members. He was upset that his album, The Gifted, was not included in the publication’s best of 2013 list.

During the three-minute phone call, Wale claimed that Complex had a personal bias towards him. Things quickly got heated and he started screaming.

“At this point, you know it’s got to be personal,” he said. “You telling me it’s not personal. It’s like a bold face lie. To be omitted from every type of list that y’all do or be at the bottom of it or every type of way that y’all can omit me, ya will.”

He even took a shot at Juicy J, who collaborated with him on “Clappers” off The Gifted. “You mean to tell me Juicy J album better than mine?” he said. “Is that what you trying to tell me?”

Before the writer had a chance to respond, Wale started making violent threats. “I swear to God I’ll come to that office and start knocking ni**as the fuck out,” he screamed. “Alright, I’ll see y’all tomorrow. Get the security ready.”

Listen to the intense phone call below.

UPDATE: Following the leaked audio, Wale has shared his reaction on Instagram. “Set it off,” he joked.
