Rick Ross has worked with everyone from Jennifer Lopez to Nas, but even Rozay is excited about his upcoming collaboration with Lady Gaga. During Saturday’s Cali Christmas concert in Anaheim, Rap-Up TV spoke with the MMG boss about his remix to the pop superstar’s R. Kelly-assisted single “Do What U Want.”
“For me to get to collab with her, that was a big one for the boss,” said Rozay. “If it’s big for the boss, you know it’s big.”
He didn’t hesitate to say yes when her camp reached out. “[She’s] a super-talented artist that loves to express herself to the fullest extreme,” he added. “Shout out to Lady Gaga.”
In addition to Gaga, he has worked with Jay Z on his next single “Devil Is a Lie” off his upcoming album Mastermind. “It’s one of those, if you know how me and Jay do,” said Ross. “We were havin’ a conversation and we were like, I believe it’s our sixth collaboration, and we’re 6-0.”
The project, due in early 2014, also features R&B legend Bobby Womack. “I got in the studio with a few people just to do a lot of different things and it’s gonna be some dope shit,” he said.
