Tamar Braxton Performs ‘Silent Night’ on ‘The Queen Latifah Show’

Tamar Braxton

Tamar Braxton lent her angelic voice to the holiday music episode of “The Queen Latifah Show.” Accompanied by a guitarist, the “Braxton Family Values” star performed an acoustic version of the Christmas carol “Silent Night,” which appears on her holiday album Winter Loversland.

After giving birth to her first child and releasing two albums in 2013, Tamar has a lot to look forward to in the new year. The singer is nominated three times at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards and her daytime talk show “The Real” has been picked up for fall 2014.

Tamartians, get your life with her stripped-down set.

Just sing the song. All the theatrics aren’t necessary.

That was so terrible!!!Why would she perform acoustically sounding that BAD??? Also, does she have a medical condition going on because she looks bloated and heavier and sad??? Get your LIFE Tamar and sitdown somewhere. You are not Mariah Carey to be performing acoustically.

Trying too hard….freaky faces and expressions. Needs to give up singing unless she thinks she can sing song correctly!

She sounds a mess and when she sings, it’s like she is concentrating on showing off what she can do vocally instead of connecting with the song. I’ll pass.

Although Tamar can sing, shed not a natural
performer. Its painful to watch her perform.
She needs to go yo entertainer camp and work
    On her stage presence.

Possibly the worst rendition of SN that I’ve ever heard. Thanks for ruining a classic, Tamar. Thanks a lot.

I just…. *sigh* I don’t know why she insists on over singing things. Its like, if you can sing – You can sing anything. But don’t go trying to show off when all you have to do is sing the damn song the way it’s written and performed originally. Use your voice as it is and stop over working it trying to make up for the fact that you damaged your vocal cords before you totally ruin them.

If she would humble herself and realize that she is not as great as she thinks she is she could focus on singing and those theatrics are terrible.
