Roc Nation only helps those who are very very established. The underdogs will never survive there. I want Melanie Fiona to leave, too much talent gone to waste.

@King, I always wondered why she is still there. Melanie Fiona is an amazing single and Roc Nation not doing much for her. On the other hand didn’t know MIA was sign with them. Good luck to her.

    Oh Reply:

@King, I agree, they have so much talent but only want to promote who’s popular

@King, Same with every rapper-run label, look at YMCMB only Wayne, Drake, Nicki & Tyga get promotion not even Busta gets that much promotion, where’s Cory Gunz gone, and Gudda Gudda, even Jay Sean, i bet 99% of the plenaet didn’t even know he had an album out this year.
Grand Hustle again only promote B.o.B and Iggy (until she left).
GOOD Music – why the fuck has CyHi Da Prince not released an album yet?!
You see its the same at all labels.

@King, Melanie Fiona’s issue is her record label, not Roc Nation. Roc Nation only does her touring, which is where she makes her bread.

Second, not everyone is meant to be a big star like a Rihanna or Beyonce. Talent alone does not mean people will like you, it’s about ”it” factor too.

Mia GOT Dropped! She forced them to put her weak ass album out and it did not sell and they dropped that ass! No hate at all just real shit thats why she should of waited to 2014 to put out a project!

Next Girls to get dropped and Reasons why!

Azealia Banks—– Signed in 09 still haven’t given label a decent album to market. Signed as an Urban Rapper, and she’s only putting out trance, house and EDM rap records. Failed to give the urban stations a banger and burning bridges all over the world picking fights!

Angel Haze- Leaked her own Album that the label wanted to drop in March after promotion and a radio single! She Forced her album out December 30. ONLY 1,245 Copies Sold WorldWide. She’s a disappointment, you leaked your own Album we all downloaded it free and now you want us to buy it RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT

Brianna Perry- May have been dropped already Atlantic Records haven’t done anything for her in the last two years, Poe Boy no longer has any money to do nothing Next!

Snow Tha Product—- Didn’t even start to work on her album been signed for two years! Only focuses on lyrics instead of recording timeless music

LIL KIM & Tiffany Foxx- Both flops Tiffany can’t rap and won’t last long. Lil Kim been promising a mixtape for Two Years Gives Release dates and don’t honor them

    Foxy Brown- Hearing Problems

Diamond- Only do shows in Atlanta, Knows no place else Signed to a New York Label, doesn’t even come to New York The Evolved project has never made it out the studio.

Lil Mama- Trying to convince Tboz and Chilli to let her be left eye

Remy Ma- In Jail Sentence over July 2014 will be in the studio but after six months none will care

Lady Luck- Tryna Battle on Queen of the ring with Mr Hustle and yes I said Mr

Teyana Taylor-Crys every night wondering why Kanye signed her and next release her but released in her

    Lola Monore- Mixtape Was Phenomenal

Sasha Go Hard- Flow and beat choices are the same

@GirlsBeLikeImissDwoods, you just did`t make sense, MIA has been doing her own thing for ten years and she is a different league that all the other artist you mentioned below her, people are like you are so stereotypical in the knowledge to what`s happening in new innovative music. You pass those shallow judgements in this sensationalist way that makes you a pseudo-cynical dumb person.
Her first single GALANG came out in 2004, establishing herself as a new emerging femcee with politically-agitated lyrics and fresh global beats, back then when there were no Azaleas or Santigolds, she literally paved the way to all those alt.rap females. She was singed to UK_based indie XL records. The reason she got involved in the management with R.Nation in the first place was due to the fact that Jay was a big fan of her stuff and even remixed her earlier works off KALA album and later MAYA. She left due to creative differences. You lack so much info about her, you should have known that both beyonce and rihanna drew a lot of influences not only from her vids but also from her amazing work. Not sure if you can smack what i have just wrote in your poor bird brain but at least give it a try: also highly suggest make a thorough research before slagging off the artist.

THe next Recorde company may dope her or she will leave the company on her own unless she put out her own Records company. Who know what the next label she sign to Next.

She’ll probably go the independent route which would be smart. She never sold a lot of records and I don’t think she needs the support of a major label.
