Jennifer Lopez returned to the Bronx in the video for “Same Girl,” and now she’s teaming up with a rapper from her hometown. Over the weekend, the pop diva hit the studio with Bad Boy’s own French Montana.
French posted a photo of himself with J.Lo, tweeting, “#samegirl @jlo #staytuned #southbronx #working.”
Just last week, J.Lo dropped a teaser for her “Same Girl” video. The full song, penned by Chris Brown, is expected to premiere any day now.
“Rack City” producer DJ Mustard also tweeted that he has some music for the “American Idol” judge. “Yo somebody tell @JLo I got some bangers waiting for her !!!!!” he wrote, to which she responded, “where they at @DJmustard??”
In addition to French and Chris, J.Lo has collaborated with Future, Big Sean, Robin Thicke, Sia, and RedOne on her upcoming 10th album.
French, who is working on his sophomore album Mac & Cheese 4, dropped a video for “Paranoid” off his debut Excuse My French. Watch below.
