Some of today’s biggest stars helped celebrate a music icon at the 2014 MusiCares Person of the Year Gala at the L.A. Convention Center on Friday night. Legendary singer-songwriter Carole King was honored with musical tributes from Alicia Keys, P!nk, Lady Gaga, will.i.am, and more during the pre-Grammy event.

Dressed in white, Lady Gaga earned a standing ovation with her rendition of “You’ve Got a Friend.” The pop star also auctioned off her vintage Rolls-Royce to benefit the foundation.

Seated at the piano, Alicia Keys belted out a cover of King’s ladies anthem “Natural Woman.”

“Just performed Natural Woman n tribute 2 1 of my music heroes & friends Carole King! What a way 2 bring n my bday!!” tweeted Alicia, who turns 34 today.

Miguel dueted with country singer Kacey Musgraves on “Crying in the Rain” and will.i.am shared the stage with Irish singer-songwriter Leah McFall for “Loves Makes the World.”

While Ciara didn’t perform, the pregnant diva did wow on the red carpet in a Lanvin menswear pinstripe suit.
