Macklemore & Ryan Lewis closed out the Grammys with a powerful performance. After sweeping the rap categories, the Seattle duo performed their gay rights anthem “Same Love” with Mary Lambert and Trombone Shorty.

“This song is a love song not for some of us, but for all of us,” said Queen Latifah while introducing the performance.

Latifah returned to officiate the wedding ceremony of 33 straight and same-sex couples, while Madonna sang “Open Your Heart.” The performance brought Staples Center to its feet and country star Keith Urban was reduced to tears.
