Day26

Days after performing their comeback show at SOB’s in New York City, Day26 made their first television appearance in years on BET’s “106 & Park.” All five members of Diddy’s former R&B group—Robert Curry, Brian Andrews, Willie Taylor, Qwanell Mosley, and Michael McCluney—chopped it up with hosts Bow Wow and Keshia Chanté‎ about getting back together.

“When I got the phone call that they wanted to reunite, there’s a brotherhood here, so I was like, ‘Cool, let’s make it happen,'” said Que, who left the band in 2009.

When asked about his relationship with former girlfriend Dawn Richard, he responded, “Everything’s still cool. We’re not in a relationship, but there is a friendship still there.”

Their fellow “Making the Band” stars Danity Kane have also reunited, but the timing was pure coincidence. “This had been in talks for month,” said Brian. “Danity Kane, they went ahead and pulled the trigger before we did.”

They also announced plans for a new album and tour. “It’s gonna be so epic,” said Robert. “It’s gonna be the first time we’re back together. We’re doing it strictly for the fans because you requested it.”
