Future Taps Drake, Nicki Minaj, & Kanye West for 'Honest' Album
The stars are aligning for Future’s sophomore album Honest. The Atlanta rapper has enlisted Drake, Nicki Minaj, and Kanye West for the follow-up to his 2012 debut Pluto.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, super-producer Mike WiLL Made It revealed the star-studded guest list, which also includes Pharrell and Pusha T.
“It’s a real dope album and it should be eventful when it comes out,” said the “23” hitmaker.
Future plans to announce a release date and reveal the cover art next week.
Mike WiLL has also been in the studio with Mariah Carey, Lil Wayne, Juicy J, and Diddy. “We’re working on a new album right now,” he said of the Bad Boy mogul. “I’m a fan of Puff.”
In addition to assisting others, he is readying his own album, Established in 1989 Part 3. “I feel like my album has to be so eventful. It has to have classic collaborations,” he said of the follow-up to his #MikeWiLLBeenTriLL mixtape.
He has already been in the lab with Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Nicki, Future, and Rick Ross. “I’m trying to figure out what songs make the cut,” he added. “My album has to be the 10 hottest songs. It has to be like the Now CD.”
