Rihanna Hits the Studio with Alex Da Kid

Fresh off her seventh Grammy win, Rihanna returned to the lab. The Unapologetic singer was recently in the studio with platinum hitmaker Alex Da Kid, who shared a photo on Instagram.

“Strategizing…” wrote Alex.

In addition to producing Rihanna and Eminem’s chart-topping hit “Love the Way You Lie,” Alex helmed “Farewell” for 2011’s Talk That Talk. He is also responsible for Imagine Dragons’ Grammy-winning single “Radioactive.”

In addition to Alex, RiRi logged sessions with “Umbrella” hitmaker Kuk Harrell, and assured fans that she would not leave them waiting too long.

“Music is what I love to do, so you never have to worry about me not doing that. I love doing that,” she told Robin Roberts on “GMA.”

Rihanna is expected to release her eighth album this year.
