Mariah Carey, Tamar Braxton, & Jennifer Hudson to Perform at 'BET Honors'

Mariah Carey, Tamar Braxton, and Jennifer Hudson will help salute African-American icons at this year’s “BET Honors.”

The R&B divas will perform musical tributes, along with Janelle Monáe, Smokey Robinson, and Karen Clarke Sheard, during the seventh annual special at the Warner Theatre in Washington, D.C.

This year’s show will celebrate the achievements of Aretha Franklin, Ice Cube, Motown Records founder Berry Gordy, American Express CEO Ken Chenault, and visual artist Carrie Mae Weems.

Ludacris, Mack Wilds, Rev. Al Sharpton, and Joe Morton are also scheduled to present during the event.

Hosted by Wayne Brady, “BET Honors” will air during Black History Month on Monday, February 24.

Past honorees have included Whitney Houston, Jamie Foxx, Queen Latifah, and Sean “Diddy” Combs, with performances by Trey Songz, Ne-Yo, Keyshia Cole, Mary J. Blige, and Patti LaBelle.
