Kanye West to Executive Produce Tyga's 'Gold Album'
Kanye West is putting his platinum touch on Tyga’s Gold Album. The Young Money rapper has announced that the G.O.O.D. Music chief will executive produce his upcoming project.
“Kanye executive producing that, so it’s gonna be a crazy album,” Tyga told Yesi Ortiz on Power 106.
The rappers were recently seen hanging out together. Tyga and his girlfriend Blac Chyna joined ‘Ye while celebrating Kim Kardashian’s 33rd birthday in Las Vegas in October and just last month, Tyga hinted at a collaboration by posting a photo of them in the studio.
“It’s just good to have people like him, Wayne,” said Tyga. “They’re all these people I grew up on. To really be mentored by the greats, it just puts you in that running.”
In addition to The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty, Tyga is featured on the Young Money compilation Rise of an Empire, due March 11, and is working with Chris Brown on the Fan of a Fan 2 album.
Also in the works is the Last Kings EP featuring female rapper Honey Cocaine, London MC Danny Seth, and soul singer Esty.
