Video: Rick Ross f/ Jeezy – ‘War Ready’

Rick Ross, DJ Khaled, and Jeezy

Enemies become friends in the video for “War Ready.” Rick Ross joins forces with his former rival Jeezy and his MMG signee Tracy T in the action-packed visuals, shot during NBA All-Star Weekend in New Orleans.

Gun shots ring out as the hip-hop titans turn a warehouse into a violent battlefield in the TAJ-directed clip, which features cameos from Meek Mill, YG, DJ Khaled, and DJ Mustard.

In an interview with The Huffington Post, Rozay spoke about squashing his beef with Jeezy. “We had past differences and we put that to the side being true bosses to do something big for the culture, which is bigger than both of us,” he said.

The Mike WiLL Made It-produced song appears on Ross’ sixth album Mastermind.

For as long as I live I will NEVER understand why Rick ROSS choose to rhyme in this terrible flow especially when he set himself up to be outshone on he’s own song on he’s own album! *covers face* I believ Rick Ross got the Ludacris-T.I-Stomp remix treatment and Game-Yukmouth treatment and laid he’s vocals Down and sent it over to Jeezy first!
