New Music: Nas - 'It Ain't Hard to Tell (Remix)'

On April 15, Nas will commemorate the 20th anniversary of his seminal debut Illmatic with the release of Illmatic XX, a two-disc compilation including rare remixes, unreleased demos, and freestyles.

After dropping his “’93 Stretch & Bobbito Freestyle” earlier this month, the veteran MC has liberated a funky remix to his classic cut “It Ain’t Hard to Tell.”

Nas will also tour the U.S. this spring, performing the album in its entirety at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. and Coachella in April.

Time Is Illmatic, a documentary that examines Illmatic, will open at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 16.
