Compton crashes the charts as YG’s debut My Krazy Life enters at No. 2.

The 24-year-old rapper scores the week’s biggest debut on the Billboard 200 with 61,000 copies sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The album, which features the platinum hit “My Hitta,” enters at No. 1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.

But he was no match for Disney’s Frozen. The soundtrack to the animated film spends a seventh week at No. 1, selling an additional 202,000 copies last week.

YG thanked his fans for their support. “#myKRAZYlife debuts #1 Rap album in the country. #2 Album on billboard top 200 …. Thank all y’all doe,” he tweeted. “If it wasn’t for thatt fukin frozen album I woulda had the #1 album on billboard top 200 too lol. It’s Bool doe.”

Other top 10 debuts this week include Foster the People (No. 3, 54,000), Skrillex (No. 4, 47,000), and Enrique Iglesias (No. 8, 24,000).

Pharrell Williams’ G I R L drops 5-6 with 34,000, and Rick Ross’ Mastermind falls 3-7 with 27,000.
