Pharrell Williams has another reason to be happy. The Neptunes hitmaker has signed on as a coach on “The Voice.”

The 40-year-old will fill one of the red chairs on the seventh season of the singing competition, NBC revealed on Monday.

“Okay, we can OFFICIALLY say it! WE ARE SO #HAPPY to announce PHARRELL WILLIAMS = #NewVoiceCoach for SEASON 7,” tweeted “The Voice.”

“This is going to be so fun,” added Pharrell, who previously appeared as an advisor alongside Usher during season four.

He replaces previous coach CeeLo Green, who left the show after four seasons. The three other coaches for season seven have yet to be announced.

The Oscar nominee is enjoying a banner year. In addition to winning four Grammys and launching his album G I R L, Pharrell is set to debut a clothing line with adidas and his first fragrance.

    @Dave,
    Something fishy is going on when old white women are running around praising pharrel and that stupid happy song. many black people dont even know who he is! looks like we lost all our freedoms to be rewarded for excellent work. mediocrity and copying marvin gaye songs paying off and great talent being stifled.

    Oh my god I cant imagine how annoying he’s gonna be on a TV show like this with his inflated ego. It’ll never be as bad as will.i.am though
