Video: Rita Ora – ‘I Will Never Let You Down’

Rita Ora

Rita Ora proves that blondes have more fun in the video for “I Will Never Let You Down,” the first single off her upcoming sophomore album.

Directed by Francesco Carrozzini (Beyoncé’s “Jealous”), the chic, yet simple clip features gorgeous black-and-white and color shots of the British singer as she dons a designer wardrobe and dances alongside two blonde women.

The uplifting song, produced by Calvin Harris, was inspired by Whitney Houston.

“It’s obviously a very important song to me because it’s a love song, but it reminds you of Whitney,” Rita told Paper. “And that was the vibe we were on. We just wanted to feel good. You know that feeling of ‘How Will I Know’ with the synth? It just makes you feel happy; that’s what I wanted to create.”

See Rita strut her stuff in the fierce and fashionable clip.

    @CARLOS,

    agreed, but I like her personality so much. She just needs better writers. On that note, Rita girl if you see this, contact me. I’ll get you on the “write” track.

    i love Rita but the problem i always have with her is that she’s either a hit or a miss. i think this song may be better for the uk market then the us.cute video though , hopefully she gets it right with the follow up single. she should have went more urban but i guess after the success of radioactive she decided to open off this album with a pop cut .

    This is a nice song. Will it be a hit? I was really looking forward to her making it big… what happened?

    If Beyonce were actually white, this is what she would look like.

    I really want this girl to win. She’s pretty and has a good voice.
    But her music sucks so damn bad it’s ridiculous.

    @Deejay, I agree with you. It’s like they keep giving her leftovers of what I don’t know. I want this girl to win but these songs smh.

    The video didn’t help the song at all. I am about to give up on this girl. She needs to come harder and have more of a urban edge cause this just seems to campy for me. She can sing but these songs man I just can’t. I am trying to like her but I need to hear more before I even make a purchase. This song isn’t going to make me do it. Might work in the uk though.

    This is the best Calvin Harris could do for his girlfriend? Smh. Bland and boring.

    i think she wants this to be her thing; edgy, ethnically-ambiguous doing these “so cheesy, it’s good” songs. honestly at fist I was like ‘da fug’, but half way through I was gigging. I did also just burn a L to the face…
