New Music: Keyshia Cole f/ Iggy Azalea – ‘I’m Coming Out’

Keyshia Cole and Iggy Azalea

Keyshia Cole and Iggy Azalea team up on a remake of Diana Ross’ “I’m Coming Out,” which the Notorious B.I.G. and Puff Daddy famous sampled on “Mo Money Mo Problems.”

The Aussie rap diva channels Biggie on her intro verse and shouts out the original diva (“Steppin’ out Diana Ross, no Supremes”) before Keysh sends her man packing on the Irv Gotti and Reefa-produced club banger, which will appear on the soundtrack to The Other Woman.

The romantic comedy, starring Nicki Minaj, Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann, and Kate Upton, hits theaters April 25.

Earlier this morning, Iggy also stopped by “The Breakfast Club,” where she discussed her upcoming debut The New Classic and her work ethic.

Listen to their ladies’ anthem below.

    A-hole kelly rowland claims to be coming out with diana ross music eventhough she has no record company. that’s hilarious! keyshia dont have to worry about that loser overshadowing her.

    @Lalalala, READ! they never said anything about Biggie’s version being the origional… so stop trying to school somebody and get YOUR diploma first.

    Mandela Barb Reply:

    @Lalalala, YO never said that Biggy’s version was the original so there is no need for the excessive chiding.
    Simmer down, sir.

    @Mandela Barb, might as well said it if it say r.i.p biggie rap-up ain’t being legit anyways it’s either it’s mo money mo problems or I’m coming out

    Mandela Barb Reply:

    @Ace, False. Showing love to an icon in hip hop because he recorded a version of the song at hand does not explicitly imply that the one showing love is of the belief that that version of the song that they’re reflecting upon is the original version of the song. Yo’s comment was really very simple.

    Ice Reply:

    @YO, Biggie wasn’t the original, so you could argue that he ruined a classic if you wanted to.

    Keysh is on top form. Iggy sounds like a child. They shoulda got a talented rapper to do it.

    Steez Reply:

    @JD, i agree, Trina would have killed this song.

  16. Go Iggy!

    Everybody wanna try to ignore Iggy because she’s not black. But her songs are charting much higher than Nicki Minaj’s tracks. Since Nicki always want to say she’s the “first female rapper to so this and that since this and that,” give Iggy her props for being the first female rapper to chart higher than Nicki Minaj. Go Iggy! I wish she was a braggart.

    [Reply]

    Wait..lmao Reply:

    @Go Iggy!, lmfaoo.. my name has never been more relevant. She’s actually not charting higher than Nicki Minaj. Maybe some of her singles are charting higher in the UK and maybe some of her songs are charting higher than Nicki’s least successful songs (Let’s be serious, billboard tried to claim Come on a Cone was a single when it was used as promotion on a online-commercial for the Re-Up, so it charted HORRIBLE). But, let’s be serious. All of Nicki’s ACTUAL singles have charted much higher than Iggy has touched. I’m going to need you to come with a thick ass book of receipts for you to even think you could claim that someone with no flow charted higher than Nicki Minaj. If she charted higher than Nicki, it wouldn’t be Nicki that would be mentioned on this post. Nor would it be Nicki who was getting feature after feature after feature last year. Don’t even think about trying that.

    Not to mention, Nicki did this song on one of her mixtapes. Pause.

    @Wait..lmao,

    “Maybe some of her singles are charting higher in the UK”

    -shakes head-
    Her highest peak chart positions in the UK was #10 (which was with Change Your Life).

    @Go Iggy!,

    LMAOOOOOOOO, The Delusional is REAL.

    Iggy’s last 3 single failed to reach the Hot 100, fancy just debuted at #88 on Billboard’s Hot 100.

    Just…Just don’t comment again.

    [Reply]

    DON Reply:

    @Go Iggy!, Iggy fans chatting because it took her a Pop song with a White History type video to debut on the BB Hot 100 at #88 to chart higher than Nicki at #111. But, Fancy ended up tumbling down the charts faster than Artpop meanwhile LAN rose to #104. Mind you LAN was released 2 weeks before it’s vevo release and single release and it’s not a pop song either. Nicki Minaj highest chart entry was #3 (twice). Iggy have yet to see the top 80. #PackItUp “You wack ho*s could get hot for one summer after that the Queen’ll still reign here”

I hope Angel haze get things right with her label and waited for her album to be released properly. Quit bringing Nicki plastic 3sums up on this post. This is an iggy post bcuz its Iggy’s time to shine.

    This is a good track for Keyshia but, i don’t think it’s gonna do well on the charts. Keyshia should have got someone else to rap, like Trina. Iggy doesn’t have flow or good delivery. Trina was a masterpiece at these type of songs. Good song but the collaboration wasn’t needed, it didn’t really help the song.
