Pharrell Williams Performs on ‘SNL’

Pharrell Williams

After celebrating his 41st birthday on Friday, Pharrell Williams kept the party going during his visit to “Saturday Night Live.”

Rocking his green Vivienne Westwood hat and adidas G I R L track jacket, The Neptunes hitmaker brought some cheer to Studio 8H while performing the No. 1 single in the country, “Happy,” backed by a troupe of young dancers.

For his second set of the evening, “The Voice” coach performed his new G I R L single “Marilyn Monroe” for the first time, with some help from composer Hans Zimmer and a string orchestra.

Watch both performances below.

    @speechless,

There are two type of Commenters in the world
You’ve got a broke Cammentor, and you’ve got
    a rich commenter.

And then you got a Commenter like me
Who just stand above all broke/bitch
    commenters (yourself).
    Only Commenters like me
are allowed to play a game of chess

Barb is not something you call yourself, but a way of life. A culture. One does not simply wake up a(n) (authentic) Barb. Barb is what you are and I LOVE myself.

So when y’all see me in the street?
This is what I want y’all to do
Fix your lips, put ‘em together nicely and say
    (Say it along now),
    “That’s a Barb!”

Deserves all his accolades and to be called a legend but that just doesn’t take away at how bad of a performer he is.

    Mankam Reply:

@Natasha, what is the basis of your opinion of his performance? With his wide body of work, can you do what he does?

    Bx Reply:

@Natasha, I don’t know about legend.’ Accolades he deserves, yes. And you are also spot on with the performing aspect.
