Chris Brown Gets Support from Karrueche, Bow Wow, & Tank in Court

Chris Brown

Chris Brown appeared in a D.C. courtroom on Friday for the start of his assault trial. The “Loyal” singer was joined by his family and friends including his mother Joyce Hawkins, Karrueche Tran, Bow Wow, and Tank.

Judge Patricia Wynn was expected to deliver her verdict in Brown’s bodyguard Christopher Hollosy’s trial Friday, but she delayed that until Monday. Brown’s trial will also begin Monday.

Brown and Hollosy both face an assault charge after a Maryland man says they punched him outside the W Hotel in October after he tried to take a photo with the star. But Brown has denied hitting the man, who he claims was trying to get on his tour bus.

During his brief court appearance, a suit-clad Chris waved to his family and Bow Wow, who flashed the peace sign.

The singer, who is currently on probation for the Rihanna assault case, faces up to four years in prison.

    I love Team Breezy, there always willing to fight for their fave. I’m so glad Chris is getting support, from family and friends. God knows Chris entertains and is loved by a lot of people, I’m talking millions,so God does have a plan for Chris, this is probably a lesson for Chris. I’m just praying that its not a lesson that could take up to 4 years

    You CB haters are some bitter individuals, I mean really, the media as well. With everything going on in the world, his misdemeanor trial & KT are big news. I don’t get the hate for these 2 people, Zimmerman gets more praise and love. Yet you continue to follow.

    @summer,I totally agree with you , there are far more serious cases out there besides Chris and I do not believe for one second that he is guilty of assault, somebody wants to get paid ,and they want to send yet another sucessful black artist to prison ….to prove a point …don’t care how high you get you are still Black in America… Jim Crow undercover….

    @marcus, you are so right ,it is so amazing that in America, if you are a young black male ,you can do something small and get triple punishment and a child molester /rapist can get probation ….not right still Jim Crow embedded in the system… I have even heard that the white guys are treated better in the prison system and the jails… go figure and it is a known fact that they commit some of the worst crimes…

    I have always considered myself part of Team Breezy. It’s time that we, as his true fans, hold him accountable for his actions instead of making excuses for him. I do agree the media does go in on him but it’s not like he is doing his part to give them something different to talk about. He did beat Rihanna, throw a chair through the GMA window, get into a number of brawls, and get kicked out of rehab. If he didn’t, this wouldn’t be his life right now. He has more than enough opportunities to get his life together yet he continues to disappoint. In the end, it keeps us from his great music and seeing his electrifying performances; which for me personally, is the only reason I continue to support him. He is so talented! He needs to get it together!!

    @AELUX, exactly the truth

    The reason why CB still have a strong fanbase is bc he’s the best of the generation (nobody performs like him)

    and we see the quality of an artist with what he gives us on stage.

    He has the chance to be the greatest….

    when are our guys going to learn “no matter how high you get “they will do everything to pull you down and send you to prison. I hope Chris learns from this and Stop falling into the traps whether they be from the law or women…Good luck Chris and get it together if you are lucky enough to avoid prison… If you are blessed to get out of this embrace your freedom ,learn from this and act like someone with the sense and manners that your mom instilled in tou before you got caught up in the Hollywood stardom…and Remember your mother is hurting ….

    Soooo just because “everyone else” gets away with doing wrong, that means Chris should too? If that was common logic by every one we would live in an even shittier world than we do now. And I do somewhat agree with the whole “take the successful black man down” line but if you and I can come to that conclusion, why cant he? If we can see that they are out of his head, why cant he and get his shit together?!?!? And has far as him STILL having a chance to be great….that ship has sailed. Not saying he cant rebound from this, but he will never reach the heights that he could have before he started acting an a$$. Why, because ppl will never his antics down. All it will take is for one reporter to ask him one question about it and he will be back to throwing chairs through windows. Its a sad decline for a talented a guy. smh
