New Music: Boots f/ Beyoncé – ‘Dreams’

Boots and Beyoncé

After his many contributions to her self-titled album, Jordy Asher, better known as Boots, enlists Beyoncé for his latest song “Dreams.” The singer-songwriter, who has remained a mystery until recently, is responsible for co-writing and producing the bulk of Beyoncé including “Haunted,” “Drunk in Love,” “Partition,” and “Jealous.”

Mrs. Carter joins Boots on the ethereal “Dreams,” the last song off his upcoming mixtape WinterSpringSummerFall. He sent the track to Bey asking for her thoughts and she sent it back, complete with her vocals.

“It’s just a really cool testament to our friendship and relationship to do something like this,” Boots told Vogue. “I feel like I’ve been given my wings to fly. It’s the greatest kind of co-sign you could get, from someone who truly, truly believes in you.”

“Dreams” can be purchased for $0.99 with all the proceeds going to Day One, a non-profit organization devoted to teen dating violence.

I love Rihanna and all the other female singers but when you hear this they should be ashamed of the way they sing! BEYONCE IS QUEEN! SHE LITERALLY HAS THE VOICE OF AN ANGEL! TEACH THESE BITCHES BEY!

Plus Rihanna has PLENTY Of live performances that I am more than willing to share with you where her vocals are AMAZING!!

Its appears that Bey’s album is actually Boots’ album. She owed him this guest feature, and many many more. When will we get to hear “her sound”?

    @ThisIsHipHopCulture,

You sound stupid. “her sound” is her music. From Destiny’s Child (1st album) to BEYONCE (album). Its all Beyonce.

Every time Beyoncé come out with ssong with somebody y’all want to bring rihanna name in it rihanna is different from Beyoncé so what does this rihanna have to do with this song

    meme Reply:

@Brinaaaa, IKR….what I want to know is when beyonce is going to stop lying about writing credits. Beyhive swear that beyonce is the token song writing yet every single song on every single album is a sh*t load of song writer and ghost song writer like Boots we don’t know about. Yet they over here knocking Rihanna becuz she doesn’t write, atleast shes honest. I have yet to hear beyonce talk about Boots.

Oh my god, this feature just killed the game. I personally don’t really take to Boots’ sound but Beyoncé sound Beyutiful. Such a classy move to throw her vocals on here. The passion & depth in her voice is incomperable. I love her part in this. I love the production too.

Beyoncé is just incredible and as a Stan, it’s really special to see the growth of an artist. No one would expect for her to be singing songs that she’s singing and being as big as she is today when she first came out with Dangerously in Love. It’s just really something to soak in.

Beyoncé can do no wrong vocally! LET’S BE CLEAR! Every time she touches the mic…she snatches wigs, weaves & clip-ins! Song would be better if she did 1st, 2nd & bridge herself. Boots is a sick producer though!

I won’t tell you anything new, but this is just the same in any other field.
You would think experience showes us at least anything, but no.
Disagree if you will but the world changes, and none of us have no control over it.
E.g., imagine Barack had enough balls to put Vladimir to his place, but it seems like it’s not happening, welcome WW3.
    A profound post, thanks!
