Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg, & Meek Mill Blast Clippers Owner Donald Sterling

Lil Wayne

Lil Wayne has a message for Donald Sterling. The Young Money rapper has recorded a video voicing his opinion after the Los Angeles Clippers owner allegedly made racist remarks against African-Americans.

“This is dedicated to motherfuckin’ Donald Sterling,” said Wayne. “Fuck you! If I was a Clippers fan, I wouldn’t be one any more. It’s that simple.”

He also had some advice for the players. “You wouldn’t see me on the court anymore. An apology wouldn’t do for me, it wouldn’t work for me. … If I was a current Clipper, I wouldn’t be any more.”

He ended the video by shouting out his favorite NBA team, the L.A. Lakers. “Purple and yellow, ni**a.”

Other rappers including Snoop Dogg have also put Sterling on blast. “Fuck you, your mama, and everything connected to you, you racist piece of shit,” said Snoop in an Instagram video.

Meek Mill also weighed in on Twitter. “Donald sterling time is almost up,” said the MMG MC. “All them racist dudes are always old as shit …10 years from now they all gone b extinct.”

Even President Obama offered his thoughts. “When ignorant folks want to advertise their ignorance, you don’t really have to do anything, you just let them talk. That’s what happened here,” he told reporters at a press conference.

The NBA has launched an investigation following the racist rant. The Clippers players took the court on Sunday wearing their shirts inside out as a sign of protest.

Obama phrased his response best. I wish Snoop and Wayne could have been less vulgar about their outrage. It’s not as if they aren’t capable, and cussing will not bring progress to this situation.
Imagine how powerful of a demonstration it would make if no one attended the next game? That would say everything.

If lil Wayne knew how to speak English then his message may have held a little weight. The current players are stuck in their contracts but I don’t see any future players coming to the clippers to play as king as sterling is the owner. If I were doc and actually does decide to leave the team afte this season then I would stay in the city and switch teams and coach the lakers.

@Brasko801, Was he not speaking English? Did you not comprehend English? Or did you just not watch the video and only read the quote rap up posted? lil wayne is a noted passionate basket ball fan and he was rightfully so pissed. He’s not Martin Luther king jr so why anyone would expect some civil rights speech is beyond me. He responded how he felt so did snoop. There’s a lot of anger people are feeling

@Whitey, seems like u r the ignorant one, I don’t think snoop is racist if it wasn’t for white people he wouldn’t be where he is today, but when someone deserves it why not give them what they ask for, no one did sterling anything for him to speak that way, but he did disrespect an entire culture …..fan or not snoop surely doesn’t care don’t forget that he’s already rich and retired
