A decade after making his debut, John Legend has earned the first No. 1 hit of his career with “All of Me.”

The R&B crooner dethrones Pharrell’s “Happy” after 10 weeks to take the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100. The piano ballad appears on his album Love in the Future, which was released in August.

“All of Me” reaches the top in its 30th week, marking the third-longest climb to No. 1 in the chart’s 55-year history. Legend’s previous bests were 2005’s “Ordinary People” and 2008’s “Green Light” featuring André 3000, which both peaked at No. 24.

“#1!!!!!!!! Thank you!!” tweeted a grateful Legend.

Ariana Grande makes a big debut this week, rocketing onto the chart at No. 3 with “Problem” featuring Iggy Azalea. She previously peaked at No. 9 with her debut single “The Way” featuring Mac Miller.

Her Aussie collaborator Iggy has two songs in the top 5. Her Charli XCX-assisted single “Fancy” off her debut The New Classic jumps 7-4, making her the third female artist to place her first two Hot 100 hits in the top five simultaneously.

Five years after his death, Michael Jackson returns to the Hot 100 with “Love Never Felt So Good” featuring Justin Timberlake. The first single off his posthumous album Xscape debuts at No. 20, selling 80,000 downloads after only three days on sale.
