Ciara and Future Welcome Baby Boy
Congratulations are in order for Ciara and Future. The couple welcomed a baby boy earlier this week in Los Angeles.
According to Page Six, the “Body Party” singer gave birth very early Monday morning.
This is the first child for the 28-year-old, who met her fiancé Future while working on her album. “We created ‘Body Party,’ and that song created something else—and that’s why we’re here,” she told W magazine.
Future, 30, has three other kids from previous relationships.
Ciara announced her pregnancy on “The View” in January. The couple is expected to marry in the fall.
Future will kick off his “Honest” tour in Milwaukee this Friday, while Ciara plans to get back to work on her sixth album.
The new mom has also started planning her wedding. “I don’t want to sound too cocky,” she said. “But I consider myself superwoman.”
Ciara’s publicist, Chris Chambers, had no comment.
UPDATE: Ciara has announced the arrival of her baby boy, Future Zahir Wilburn, and revealed the first photo on Instagram. He was born May 19 and weighed 9 lbs. 10 oz.
Future also welcomed his son, tweeting, “Baby FUTURE.”
Their peers congratulated them on their new arrival. “Congrats to Ciara & Future,” tweeted Nicki Minaj.
