Jennifer Lopez Performs ‘First Love’ on ‘American Idol’

Jennifer Lopez

Jennifer Lopez capped off the latest season of “American Idol” with a bang. After receiving the Icon Award at Sunday’s Billboard Music Awards, the pop superstar made her way from the judges’ table to the stage to perform her Max Martin-produced single “First Love” on Wednesday’s finale. With the wind whipping through her hair, the hot mamacita sexed up the stage with an exhilarating set.

The 44-year-old credits her fit physique to her 22-day vegan diet, which she recently completed. “I enjoy eating that way. I never did,” she told Ryan Seacrest. “And I didn’t know how good you can feel when you put healthy stuff in your body.”

In addition to J.Lo, Aloe Blacc, Paramore, and Demi Lovato also performed at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live before an “Idol” winner was crowned.

J.Lo’s 10th album A.K.A. drops June 17 featuring Iggy Azalea, Nas, T.I., Rick Ross, and Pitbull.

If that wasn’t enough, she will release a book, True Love, on October 28.

I pray for the day JLo and Beyoncé would collab on a song and have a dance battle like Loose My Breath. I mean, that would seriously, slayyyyyyyyyy

I gotta admit, that was a great performance! That dance breakdown was everything. I know her music over the years has been a little hit or miss but she has always maintained her stage presence.

There is always something unpolished and improvised and more natural about her performances, that I find captivating.
Not about perfection but more feeling and genuine fun!
