Nicole Scherzinger Announces New Single ‘Your Love’

Your Love

Nicole Scherzinger is back for another round. The former Pussycat Doll has announced “Your Love” as the title of her new single.

“Excited to finally tell all of u that my new single is called #YourLove! More info #comingsoon,” said Nicole.

The song will premiere on radio on May 29 and be released commercially on July 13.

Popjustice described the three-and-a-half-minute song as “a triumph,” adding, “It doesn’t sound like any other hit songs, and it’s a ridiculously elegant single: precision-tooled for pop supremacy but sparsely produced and as a result rather more stylish than the smack round the head with a sack of spanners that was ‘Poison.’”

Earlier this week, she shot a video for “Your Love” on the beach in Malibu.

The former “X Factor” judge has signed with RCA Records in the U.K. and is working on her sophomore album, which is being produced entirely by The-Dream and Tricky Stewart.

“For the first time in my career I feel like this album is me, it’s real,” she said of the follow-up to her 2011 solo debut Killer Love. “It’s a very personal album for me. It is a reflection of the woman I am, the woman I am not, and the woman I want to be.”

I try not to knock anyone’s hustle and will never down anyone for pursuing their dream, but with that said…. Gurl STOP trying to make fetch happen! She can stay in the business, but it’s time for her to find another angle, because I don’t know if anyone is really interested in her as a solo artist. But good luck Nicole!

Note how she’s an AMERICAN citizen, shoots on AMERICAN land, works with AMERICAN producers…but only sees fit to release her albums overseas and NOT in the USA?!

Forget the border-jumpers…this leech should be deported.

@Shutterbug, Well if AMERICAN people bought her AMERICAN music, she wouldn’t be trying to collect her coins across the pond. I don’t care for her solo efforts, but have you forgotten how many singles this chick put out trying to catch fire in the USA?

Nicole has a hell of a voice but she wastes it in such a generic genre of music. She should be singing R&B but … you live and you learn. I’m not expecting much, it’s sad really.

    Huh Reply:

@Frankie: She already sang some R&B. Black audiences didn’t accept her and white audiences never will

She may do a lot better this time around since she switched labels. They seem to be promoting her more with the countdown on her page, execs tweeting about her, etc. I guess we will have to wait and see! Best of luck, Nicole!
