Kanye West Debuts New Song ‘God Level’ in adidas Commercial

Kanye West

Kanye West will be a married man in a matter of hours, but before he ties the knot with Kim Kardashian, he has debuted a new song entitled “God Level,” which premiered in a commercial for adidas’ “The Dream: All In or Nothing” campaign as part of the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

According to Billboard, the drum-heavy track was co-produced by 88-Keys, Hudson Mohawke, Mike Dean, Noah Goldstein, and Kanye.

“You see sharks in the water / You don’t see murder like this this often / Provide a new coffin / You don’t see murder like this this often,” raps Yeezy.

He is working on his first collection for adidas. During the adidas Global Brand Conference in Germany last month, he revealed that the first Yeezys for adidas would arrive in June.

There are also reports that he is recording the follow-up to Yeezus while in Florence for his wedding.

    @2bad2bme, I agree.

He’s almost done a 180 since College Dropout.

@2bad2bme, You’re too close minded & trapped in your slave religion to focus on this iconic track. Ye is ahead of his time. Stick to the shit you’re used to. I’m sure he does not care about any of you simpletons. He doesn’t need for you to feel sorry for him. Get over it. I’m sure you’re not even aware of the 5 Percenters who also believed the black man is God. & I am sure you weren’t aware of Malcolm X also being a 5 Percenter.

You’re too focused on the title to understand the art & complex behind it.

@jimscreechie, The beat is not horrible & the full song is most likely unfinished.

Damn Ye stunt on them haters. Another classic track in the making. I know this new album will be on some next level shit once again. This man just keeps it consistent & never inconsistent constantly on some new shit, never boring. I know this new album will go over a lot of people’s head once again. This man is so ahead of his time that it’s ridiculous. Too many over religious people still stuck in their close minded slave ass religion. You’re too focused on the title to the point where you can’t even enjoy the art of the song.

dead @ bitches in paris acting like our musical palettes just aren’t sophisticated enough to comprehend the “genius” of kanye. this is histrionic, narcissistic and frankly embarrassing levels of hubris masquerading as music. its self indulgent and contributes precious little to the current musical landscape.

    in laymans terms, its garbage.

@dustin, They really aren’t. Nothing is embarrassing about this. Goodbye lame. LMAO as if self indulgent was a bad thing. It contributes nothing but many have been inspired his music..

I’m done here. I’m looking forward to the new album & Yeezus film later on this year.

I’m sure you people will be on the post commenting the same as you are now :)

@dustin, You must be white,or black and ignorant, the production of this song samples highlife Nigerian style of music from Africa, and everyone knows what role african cultural music has played in general as art

    Dustin Reply:

And yet I said nothing about the production of the track. Not finding any merit in a Kanye rhyme doesn’t make me ignorant. It makes me discerning.
